IBB Interdisciplinary Research Seed Grant Program

The goal of the IBB Seed Grant Program is to stimulate new interdisciplinary research collaborations between IBB investigators. Seed grant opportunities:

• IBB Interdisciplinary Research Seed Grant - Proposal submissions should represent a new collaborative research project. Two co-principal investigators from different colleges are required and both must be IBB faculty members who hold regular appointments at Georgia Tech. Priority will be giving to teams who have never worked together before. See info on FY25 seed grant submission - deadline Wednesday, June 12, 2024
• Team Seed Grants - This seed grant was created to bring IBB teams together to plan and submit large grant proposals. All investigators must be IBB faculty members who hold regular appointments at Georgia Tech. See more info on rolling submissions. 
• Core Facility Equipment Seed Grants - This seed grant was created to give investigators an opportunity to try out IBB core facility equipment. Only one IBB investigator is needed per application. IBB investigators from Georgia Tech or Emory are eligible. A list of eligible core lab equipment can be found on the proposal submission page.
